To better inform the audience of your online video platform about its usage conditions and other important information, you can set up Content Pages from the CMS, with which you can provide important information about your video platform to your audience. Two of these Content Pages are required to be available before your video platform can be launched. Those are the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Statement of your platform. In this article, we will explain how to make these articles properly visible and how to create other Content Pages.
You can compare Content Pages with Posts, although they do not fall under the 'Vlogs' menu, but under the 'Service' menu of your video platform's frontend. Content Pages are information pages like 'Disclaimer', 'About Us', 'FAQ' and 'Terms of Use'.
A Content Page doesn't have to be based on a video or photo uploaded to your CMS. In stead, the Content Page overview can be found under the 'Content pages' button, found in the main menu of your video platform's CMS.
Creating and managing Content Pages
Once you're on the 'Content pages' screen, click the '+ Add' button in the top right corner. You will be presented with a Word- or Pages-like editor for setting up text and images. Under the drop-down menu 'Type' you can indicate which type of Content Page you want to create.
The two mandatory Content Pages - 'Terms and Conditions' and 'Privacy Statement' - have their own type that you can specify via the aforementioned drop-down menu. This makes these Content Pages automatically appear in the right place on the frontend of your video platform.
