When you have added one or more videos to the Media Overview of your video platform and you want to make them available to your viewers, you'll need to provide them with a publication date. You can provide a video with a publication date either in the present, the past or in the future and thus determine when - and where - you want the video to become available to your audience.
Making content visible on the frontend of the platform - on both the web version and the apps - is done on the 'Availability' tab. There, the top button is especially important: 'Published in on demand'. By adding a date and a time, you can determine from which moment the video should become available on the platform.
The 'Availability' screen is also where you schedule content to appear on a later date and time in the on-demand overview of your platform. This is convenient, especially if you want a video to appear on the platform at a time you won't have access to your CMS.
By entering a date and time under 'Exclusive for registered users' you determine within which period - or from which moment - the video can only be viewed by viewers who have registered (for free) on your video platform.
