If you want to use content on your own video platform that is covered by one of the Creative Commons licenses and you want to comply with the terms of that license, you may have to mention the owner of that content. The TradeCast platform offers several possibilities to make authors' information visible on the frontend of your video platform.
You can mention the author of a video on your platform in the description of the video, so that anyone who watches the video as an on-demand video can read in the description of that video who the author of that video is.
You can also use the 'Author' input field, which you can find under the 'Advanced Information' tab of each video in the Media Overview. Here, you can also specify - under 'Source' - from which source the Creative Commons video originates.
More information on the principle of Creative Commons can be found on the official Creative Commons website.
