One of the advantages of managing your own video platform is the freedom you have in designing the platform. The TradeCast CMS contains a number of useful features to make your own video platform really stand out and feel like your platform. One of these features is the possibility to add your own logo to the platform's video player.
Adding a logo to the video player of your video platform is very easy. Once uploaded, your logo will automatically appear in the top left corner of your video player on your own video platform and also in the top left corner of embedded videos coming from your video platform's CMS.
Choosing your logo
Before you can upload a logo to be shown in the top left corner of your video player, you must first generate the logo in the correct file format and with the correct dimensions. The TradeCast platform supports logos in the file format '.png'. Ideally, these logos have a transparent background. For the best representation of your logo in the video player it is also best to export the logo with a width of around 500 pixels.
Adding your logo to the video player
Once you have designed a logo and exported it to the right file format and dimensions, it is time to add your logo to the video player of your video platform. This is done by following these steps. Go to:
- Settings
- User Interface
- Stream logo image (at the bottom of the page)
By then clicking on the 'Trash can' icon, you remove the preset placeholder logo or a previously added logo. Clicking on the 'Stream logo image' line will open a selection window in which all logo files uploaded to the platform so far will appear. Click 'Browse' to search for and upload a new logo. The new logo will then appear in the selection window. Click it to set it as the new logo of your video player. Click 'Save' to activate your new logo choice.
