Media Labels allow you to add an additional label to videos uploaded to the CMS of your video platform, making it easier to find videos in the CMS. Media Labels can also be used to offer your viewers a selection of categories to use when submitting user-generated content via the iOS and Android mobile apps for your TradeCast-powered video platform.
Managing Media Labels is done via the 'Media' button in the main menu of the CMS of your video platform. A menu drops down and the last item there is 'Media labels'. Here you can create the labels that viewers of the channel can choose from if they want to send their own videos to the channel via the channel app (if you have them at your disposal). This is useful when, for example, you are organizing a competition on a certain subject.
If you create a new Media Label with the title 'February Contest', users of your video platform's iOS and/or Android app can choose this label when submitting their video as an entry to the contest. This will make it easier for you - or your team's CMS administrator - to sort through the user-generated content submissions you have received.
Also, Media Labels can be used as an extra search option in the CMS of your video platform. You can filter the search results in the Media Overview by Media Label, which can be useful if you have uploaded a large number of videos in the CMS and are looking for a way to quickly show specific videos in a bundled overview.
